Job summary

Dynamic Aerospace Fabrications Ltd is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to support precision manufacturing. You will operate and set press brakes, program controls, and ensure high quality outputs while interpreting engineering drawings and work cards.

You will maintain production flow, complete quality records in SFDC, and uphold 5S housekeeping and safety standards in a fast-paced environment at Castle Donington.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and setting press brakes in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work cards.
• Knowledge of punch and block/tooling selection for varying jobs.
• Experience programming and modifying press brake programmes.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and support 5S housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brakes in line with operation cards and instructions.
• Set tooling and punches for specific jobs and requirements.
• Program and modify machine programmes as needed.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and work cards accurately.
• Carry out first-off and in-process checks prior to inspection.
• Report defects or non-conformances promptly and maintain tooling.
• Maintain production flow and support wider manufacturing operations.
• Complete production and quality records using SFDC and attendance systems.
