Job summary
Healthxchange Pharmacy UK Limited in Manchester is seeking an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join our busy pharmacy environment. You will support the Responsible Pharmacist with final accuracy checks of prescriptions, cosmetics and stock orders, and help ensure precise dispensing of orders for customers and clinics.
The role covers picking, packing, receiving deliveries, stock control, and daily stock counts.
Qualifications
- High volume dispensary checking experience in hospital, pharmacy hub or retail environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and dispensing accuracy.
- Able to spot dispensing errors and report them appropriately.
- Strong communication skills and IT proficiency (Microsoft Office).
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery.
- Prepare pharmaceutical products for shipment per regulations.
- Perform final accuracy checks after pharmacist check.
- Receive, inspect and verify incoming deliveries.
- Maintain inventory, monitor expiries, rotate stock.
- Process returns per company policy.
