Job summary

Cornwall Staff Agency Ltd's client, a British manufacturer of agricultural machinery, is hiring a full-time paintline operative to join an established team in the UK. You will load, paint, shotblast, and unload components according to strict guidelines and drawings, ensuring quality and safety throughout the shift.

The role requires reading technical drawings and performing daily checks, with a standard schedule Monday to Thursday, 06:30–16:45, and a pay rate of £13.45 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial painting and equipment handling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Load, Shotblast, Paint & Unload components per guidelines and drawings.
• Gather and organise correct parts for different sections.
• Meet accuracy, efficiency, quality and output standards set by the Company.
• Complete daily inspection/check sheets.
• Use appropriate tools and methods per safety standards.
• Perform daily checks on machinery and tools and report defects.
• Maintain safe, clean, organised work area and equipment.
