Staffline in Truro is recruiting a Production Operator to work at a manufacturing engineering site. You will load, shotblast, paint and unload components to exacting standards.

The role requires reading technical drawings, following strict safety procedures and maintaining equipment. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 06.30 - 16.45, with a permanent contract and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience of industrial painting and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Load, shotblast, paint and unload components according to guidelines.
• Gather and organise correct parts requested by different sections.
• Meet standards of accuracy, efficiency, quality and output.
• Complete daily inspection/check sheets.
• Determine appropriate tools or methods and use them safely.
• Perform daily checks on machinery and report defects.
• Maintain tools/equipment in a safe condition.
• Regularly check quality of parts against standards.
• Keep work area clean and compliant with health and safety.

Type of position: permanent

We are now looking to recruit a Production Operator to work for manufacturing engineering company based in Truro. You will be responsible for ensuring items are loaded, shotblasted, painted and unloaded correctly and to an efficient and high.

Responsibilities

• Load, Shotblast, Paint & Unload components according to strict guidelines, designs, technical drawings and instructions.
• Help to gather & organise the correct parts requested/required by different sections.
• Meet the expected standards of accuracy, efficiency, quality and output as set by the Company
• Complete daily inspection/check sheets
• Determine appropriate tools or method based on requirements and use them according to strict safety standards
• Perform daily operational checks on machinery and tools; identify and report any defects
• Maintain tools, equipment and hanging hooks in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Regularly check quality of parts to ensure they meet the required standards set.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Operation of all associated machinery and tools to move raw material and large components
