Job summary

Halifax Fan is seeking an operator to prepare parts for painting and apply the approved finish according to the specified paint system. You will maintain a clean, safe workspace and keep equipment in line with published standards while aligning with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

The role requires strict adherence to quality, safety, and documentation practices, ensuring zero defects and timely kit handoffs to downstream teams such as Fitting and Fabrication.

Qualifications

• Prepare all parts to be painted as required for the paint system specified.
• Maintain a safe, clean, orderly workspace at all times.
• Understand and work to the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Maintain equipment to published standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for painting as required for the paint system.
• Prepare paint systems according to Manufacturer’s procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace.
• Ensure all parts in a kit are painted to meet the Fitting need date.
• Complete required processes and documentation to validate specifications.
