Job summary

Halifax Fan in the United Kingdom is looking for a diligent painter/paint prep operator to prepare parts for coating and apply paint systems according to exact specifications. You will ensure all components are ready for fitting dates, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and document processes in line with required standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting equipment maintenance or operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all parts to be painted as required for the paint system specified.
• Prepare paint systems to be used in accordance with Manufacturer’s procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, orderly workspace at all times.
• Ensure all parts in a kit are painted as required to meet the Fitting need date.
• Complete all required processes and documentation to validate specifications.
• Maintain the skills necessary to meet the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Understand the MPS and complete a job on time or have it rescheduled.
• Plan to use the required paint systems efficiently.
• Maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
