Job summary

Servotest Testing Systems is seeking a Mechanical / Hydraulic Assembler / Fitter to build and assemble high-value hydraulic system elements. The role requires reading and interpreting technical drawings, precise mechanical assembly, and careful handling of large components to tight tolerances.

You will work under the Production Manager, follow HSE procedures, and travel for customer site support if required.

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings for components/assemblies.
Mechanical assembly skills with understanding of hydraulics is advantageous.
>2 years assembly experience in a precision engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Safely prepare component parts to required quality standards before assembling into system elements using hand, power and precision tools.
Manual handling of component parts and assemblies per health and safety requirements.
Read and interpret component and assembly drawings and follow written/verbal instructions.
Identify and report substandard quality via established procedures.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and follow risk assessments and work instructions.
Operate safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
