Job summary

Progressive Recruitment is seeking a skilled assembler for a role in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will assemble mechanical and hydraulic equipment, build and test hydraulic assemblies, and maintain high safety standards within a heavy engineering manufacturing setting.

You will complete allocated tasks in line with production schedules, assemble large steel fabrications with hydraulic systems from drawings and parts lists, and ensure all work meets quality standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Build and test hydraulic assemblies in line with company procedures.
• Work safely within a heavy engineering manufacturing environment.
• Complete allocated production tasks in line with production schedules.
• Assemble large steel fabrications and associated hydraulic systems from drawings and parts lists.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and to quality standard
