Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Assembly Fitter for a busy machine shop in Washington. The role focuses on ensuring quality and precision of machined components, with exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a mechanical engineering manufacturing setting.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and quality plans.
• Experience with precision equipment assembly, particularly hydraulic and pneumatic systems, is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform deburring and dressing of machined components.
• Conduct fluid gravity and pressure tests to validate functionality.
• Inspect components against engineering drawings using precision tools.
• Log non-conformities and maintain inspection status.
• Support compliance with quality system procedures and 5S principles.
