Job summary

Terberg Matec UK in Warwick is seeking a hands-on Fitter to join our Production team. You’ll assemble and install mechanical components, work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and interpret engineering drawings to meet our exacting standards.

You’ll read detailed drawings, follow health and safety procedures, and collaborate with colleagues to hit production targets. The role is 37 hours per week with an hourly rate up to £17.73, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or similar role.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical components to engineering specifications.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
• Be flexible and willing to move between departments as needed.
• Use Production Management System (PMS) for production data.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
