Job summary

Staffline in Witney, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to assemble complex components for the scientific industry, adhering to tight tolerances and customer demand. You will troubleshoot assembly issues, work with the Design Office to improve products, and conduct quality inspections to ensure specifications are met throughout production.

Onsite role with permanent contract and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ or HNC in engineering.
• Previous assembly experience in a scientific environment.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex components and products for the scientific industry in line with tight tolerances and customer demand.
• Troubleshoot - identifying, documenting, resolving and reporting technical issues during the assembly process.
• Actively work with the D.O. to improve products and increase efficiency of assembly processes.
• Quality control and inspection - Conducting visual inspections to ensure products meet quality and specifications throughout the assembly process.
