Job summary

Greenjets is building the next generation of propulsion and autonomous aircraft technology. You will join as a Production Technician manufacturing engines and aircraft systems with a focus on precision, repeatable quality and compliance with controlled processes.

You will work across engine assembly, mechanical systems, aircraft structures and propulsion hardware, building sub-assemblies to final tolerances and maintaining production records.

Qualifications

• Experience in precision mechanical assembly or fitting.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
• Experience with inspection and measurement equipment and maintaining records.
• Working in controlled quality and traceability environments.
• Formal qualifications are useful but practical capability matters.

Responsibilities

• Build mechanical and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies for engines and aircraft.
• Assemble components accurately to defined tolerances and specifications.
• Follow engineering drawings, work instructions and controlled production processes.
• Use hand tools, measuring equipment, fixtures and production tooling.
• Complete torque-controlled assembly, fitting, fastening, bonding or sealing activities.
• Inspect your own work and maintain accurate production records.
• Identify defects, discrepancies and opportunities to improve the build process.
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Production colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workplace organisation.
• Support the transition of new products into stable, repeatable production.
