Job summary

Expert Employment is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join an expanding aerospace production team working on space products. The role focuses on precision assembly and testing in a cleanroom.

You will assemble and test valves, thrusters, and fluidic components, conduct leak tests with high-pressure gases, perform basic electrical and gas flow tests, and support cleanroom activities and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Technician, or similar hands-on engineering role
• Background in precision assembly, aerospace, space, or high-spec engineering environments
• Apprenticeship or strong practical engineering experience preferred
• Comfortable working to quality and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Precision mechanical assembly and testing in a cleanroom environment
• Assembly and testing of valves, thrusters, and fluidic components
• Leak testing using high-pressure gases and helium equipment
