The position offers a 4-day working week and long-term opportunities within the established engineering business in Poole. Salary £35,000–£40,000 DOE, with room for experience and dedication to precision work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Manual Grinder
• Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
• Good understanding of tolerances and precision measurement
• Experience working within a precision engineering environment
• Able to work accurately and independently
• Quality-focused with good attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating manual grinding machinery
• Grinding components to tight tolerances and customer specifications
• Working from detailed engineering drawings
• Measuring components using precision inspection equipment
• Carrying out in-process and final inspection
• Working with a range of materials and component sizes
• Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
