Job summary

NRL Group in Cirencester currently seeks an experienced Machine Operator/Setter for a temporary three-month assignment with Bosch Rexroth. The role is on-site, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (0730–1500, with a half-day on Friday).

Qualifications

• Proven machining experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a workshop environment.
• Experience operating milling machines, specifically XYZ SMX 4000.
• Familiarity with Prototrak controller systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set machines accurately to meet production specifications.
• Monitor operations to maintain high standards of quality.
• Adjust machine settings to optimise performance and minimise downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety around the work area.
• Follow and adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
• Complete any quality checks and production documentation as required.
• Identify and resolve minor technical issues during production runs.
