Parker Meggitt in Ansty Park near Coventry is seeking an Assembly & Test Fitter to assemble heat exchanger units from engineering drawings and perform testing to ensure compliance with customer, quality, and safety requirements.

You will use hand tools and measurement equipment, follow procedures, inspect components, and work from drawings and documentation. The role is full-time, early shift, permanent, with a competitive pay package and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical assembly experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience using hand tools and measurement equipment, including verniers.
• Experience working within a precision engineering or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn and ability to work independently once trained.

Responsibilities

• Assemble heat exchanger units to engineering drawings and specifications
• Carry out pressure, flow and leak testing on completed units
• Inspect components before, during and after assembly to identify non-conformances
• Follow technical documentation, work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Use tools and measurement equipment to verify product quality and conformity
