Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled machinist to operate cylindrical grinders and a small surface grinder, performing self-inspection and ensuring product quality according to drawings. You will follow SOPs, maintain equipment, and support continuous improvement while upholding health and safety standards.

Suitable candidates will have time-served apprenticeship, experience with cylindrical grinding, familiarity with drawings, and the ability to operate manual

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship in manufacture, NC/HMC level or equivalent.
• Qualified in material removal in cylindrical grinding.
• Knowledge of manufacturing drawings and processes.
• Strong numeracy/mathematical skills.
• Capable of operating manual machinery including jib cranes.

Responsibilities

• Operate cylindrical grinders and small surface grinder.
• Operate various manual machinery (drill, mill, broach, lathe).
• De-burr and washout of parts during production.
• Review and update setups and SOPs.
• Quality assurance inspection of parts per drawings.
• Maintain machines daily and perform preventative maintenance.
• Participate in EHS risk assessments and CI activities.
• Provide training to peers and apprentices.
