Job summary

Resolian Fordham is seeking a motivated Sample Management Technician to join our team. You will help manage samples through their lifecycle, ensuring accurate logging, storage and compliant handling in a regulated laboratory environment.

You will work across LIMS, SharePoint and internal trackers, maintaining high data integrity and timely communication with study teams to support quality laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and practical experience of sample management processes.
• Understanding of GLP and/or GCP requirements and working to regulatory standards.
• Experience using LIMS to manage and track samples.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Ability to follow SOPs and study documentation consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and batch samples for analytical runs and complete return QC activities.
• Carry out QC checks on sample log-ins for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records across LIMS, SharePoint and internal trackers.
• Act as a point of contact for assigned study teams with clear status updates.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, operations teams and external customers.
• Manage return and disposal of samples with proper documentation.
• Respond to freezer alerts and verify conditions, taking corrective action as needed.
• Work in line with SOPs, study documentation and GLP/GCP requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the wider team.
