KPI Recruiting are seeking an experienced CounterBalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Byley. This dual-role position involves 50% forklift operation and 50% general warehouse duties within a site handling chemical, food, and pharmaceutical goods. Qualifications

• Valid and in-date CounterBalance forklift licence (essential).
• Experience in warehouse settings, ideally within chemical, food, or pharmaceutical environments.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Forklift Operations (50%): Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles using counter balance trucks.
• Transport and store palletised stock within high-level racking and designated storage areas.
• Carry out daily pre-use safety checks and basic maintenance of FLT equipment.
• Ensure all movements comply with site health and safety regulations.
• Warehouse Operations (50%): Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Process goods-in deliveries, including scanning documentation and verifying stock.
• Assist with inventory control, including stock counts and reconciliation.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across warehouse and yard areas.
