Job summary

ECHO Personnel is seeking a reliable Fork Lift Counterbalance Driver to join our client's team in Corby. The role involves operating a counterbalance forklift safely, loading and unloading deliveries, and moving products around the warehouse and production areas.

You will ensure materials and finished goods are stored correctly, support production with stock movement, perform daily forklift checks, and maintain a clean, safe working environment. Shift is Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00; pay £14.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence/certificate.
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift is essential.
• Valid car driving licence - essential, as the candidate will drive the FLT on the road to another company yard, approximately 150 metres away, to refill with gas.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move products and pallets.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong team-player mentality and positive attitude.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries and move products around the warehouse and production areas.
• Ensure materials and finished products are stored correctly and safely.
• Support production and warehouse teams with the movement of stock and pallets.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.
• Drive the FLT on the road to another company yard to refill with gas.
