Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative in Malmesbury to join a dynamic manufacturing team. The role offers a rate of £13.00-£13.50 per hour with hours 7.30am-4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 7.30am-2.30pm on Friday.

You will pick and dispatch orders, check incoming components, and operate under Health & Safety rules. A counterbalance forklift licence, warehouse experience, and strong numeracy are essential; PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Accredited counterbalance forklift licence is required.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong manual handling skills with PPE; able to work in all climates.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic IT skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and numeracy.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Flexible approach with overtime when needed.
• Full, valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Pick and dispatch orders to customers to a high-quality standard.
• Check incoming components for quantity and integrity; store correctly.
• Operate within Health & Safety regulations at all times.
• Be flexible to work at offsite storage locations when required.
• Handle a variety of tasks both inside and outside, in all weather conditions.
