Job summary

Gibson Technology Limited in Repton is seeking a detail-oriented engineer-in-training to join our established team. You will work on assembling, dismantling and rebuilding engine components to high quality standards, with a focus on precision and accuracy.

Normal hours Monday to Friday 8am–4pm, on-site at our UK facility. We value problem solving, continuous learning and collaborative teamwork, and offer a supportive environment with training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Experience in an automotive/engine build environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Comfort working to deadlines in a fast-paced factory setting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle engine components.
• Measure and record dimensional data.
• Use micrometer and vernier gauges.
• Produce clear technical reports.
• Collaborate with departments to meet targets.
• Identify and help resolve production and quality issues.
