Vicon, the Oxford Metrics subsidiary and world leader in motion capture technology, invites applications for an Electromechanical Assembler in Yarnton. You will build electro-mechanical assemblies and inspect them visually to ensure quality, reporting to the Production Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly or similar manufacturing environments.
• Experience in electronic/box build assembly.
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised and tidy, with a proactive approach.
• Able to work as part of a focused team.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, databases).

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies per drawings and BOMs.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and manage repairs to maintain stock levels.
• Perform Dispatch and Goods In functions as required.
• Assist in testing, kit verification, stock counts and packing.
• Support ongoing product improvements with feedback from builds.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and proper documentation.
• Participate in training and flexible working initiatives.
• Work unsupervised to meet deadlines as part of a team.
