Job summary

Vicon Motion Systems Ltd. invites applications for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler based in Yarnton, Oxfordshire. The role focuses on building and visually inspecting high-precision products within the Production Department, reporting to the Production Manager.

The position requires mechanical/electronic assembly experience, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Ideally experience in mechanical assembly.
• Experience in electronic/box build assembly.
• Meticulous with a good eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies with reference to drawings, BOMs and instructions.
• Diagnose mechanical faults in camera sub-assemblies and coordinate repairs/stock updates.
• Perform dispatch and goods-in duties as required.
• Assist in testing, verification, stock counts and packing to support production.
• Contribute to on-going product improvements by feeding back build observations.
• Maintain safe, compliant working practices and organized workspace.
