Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting an Electro-Mechanical Workshop Assembler in London (E3). This permanent full-time role offers a salary of £30,000 per annum with monthly and annual bonuses, and a total earnings potential around £35,000+.

You will assemble, test and quality-check specialist products in a safety-conscious workshop, following precise drawings and procedures. You will read engineering drawings, use hand/power tools, and document production records while supporting continuous

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical assembly.
• Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings and instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good organisational skills with accurate documentation practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment from start to finish.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Carry out testing, adjustments, and inspections on completed builds.
• Complete production records, quality documents, and testing reports.
• Identify and report faults with components or assembly processes.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
• Work closely with the wider production team to achieve targets.
• Support continuous improvement activities and process development.
