Job summary

Adecco is hiring Manufacturing & Machine Operatives in Stroud, Gloucestershire. The role offers a four‑day working week with every Friday off and a pathway from temp to permanent employment. Training will cover specialist coil winding and manufacturing techniques, with pay up to £16 per hour dependent on experience.

Shifts run Monday to Thursday from 6:30am to 4:00pm, with on‑site parking and long-term career prospects in a well‑established manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, manufacturing or hands‑on production.
• Excellent attention to detail and steady hands.
• Ability to follow technical drawings and written instructions.
• Good manual dexterity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Set and program machinery to produce precision copper coils.
• Wind copper wire onto components and work with small parts.
• Carry out electrical testing and quality inspections.
• Solder, crimp and mould components as required.
• Use hand tools and specialist production equipment.
• Follow drawings and document production work in systems.
• Ensure finished work meets quality standards.
