Job summary

Gregory-Martin International is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Programmer for a West Byfleet-based workshop. You will program, set and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances, often handling exotic materials.

Reading engineering drawings and applying GD&T, selecting tooling, speeds and feeds, and performing in-process inspection are key. Overtime and pension benefits are included in a collaborative, quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC Turner experience is essential.
• Experience machining exotic materials and difficult alloys.
• Ability to produce complex parts within tight tolerances.
• Strong CNC programming skills required.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Understanding of tooling and machining strategies.
• Experience with inspection and quality control processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Set, program and operate CNC turning machines.
• Manufacture components to tight tolerances (microns range).
• Work with exotic materials such as Inconel, Titanium, Hastelloy.
• Interpret drawings and specifications; select tools, speeds, feeds.
• Conduct in-process inspection with precision equipment.
• Ensure parts meet quality standards and troubleshoot issues.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement.
