Job summary

Response Personnel Ltd seeks a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Programmer to join a precision engineering team in Woking, Surrey. You will program, set and operate CNC lathes to produce components to tight tolerances, using exotic materials and adhering to quality standards.

Role requires interpreting engineering drawings, selecting tooling, determining speeds/feeds and performing in-process inspections. Overtime and shift work may be required; safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Requires proven experience as a CNC Turner and programming capability.
• Experience machining exotic materials and difficult alloys.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T.
• Strong focus on quality, accuracy and efficiency in a high-spec environment.

Responsibilities

• Set, program and operate CNC turning machines.
• Manufacture components to tight tolerances (microns).
• Work with exotic materials (Inconel, Titanium, Hastelloy, Duplex).
• Interpret drawings and specs to select tools, speeds and feeds.
• Conduct in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment.
• Ensure all parts meet quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust as needed.
• Follow safety procedures.
