Job summary

Entech Technical Solutions is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Programmer to join a growing precision engineering manufacturer delivering high-specification components to demanding industries.

The role involves programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to produce precision parts from exotic materials, following engineering drawings and GD&T. You will work in a modern facility with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines.
Experience machining exotic materials or difficult-to-machine alloys.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
Excellent knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters and machining techniques.
Experience using precision inspection equipment and quality processes.

Responsibilities

Program, set and operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components.
Machine complex parts to micron-level tolerances using exotic/high-performance alloys.
Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and GD&T requirements.
Select tooling, cutting speeds and machining strategies for efficient production.
Carry out in-process inspection to ensure product quality.
Diagnose machining issues, adjust programs and optimise performance.
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment and follow safety procedures.
