Job summary

Major Recruitment are recruiting an experienced CNC Tooling Machinist to join a busy precision tube manufacturer in Oldbury. You will manufacture, modify, refurbish and maintain tube mill tooling, rolls and fixtures using CNC and conventional equipment.

Working with engineering, maintenance and production, you will interpret drawings, set and operate CNC machines, select tooling and processes, and inspect components to ensure they meet dimensions and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Set and operate CNC machinery.
• Select appropriate tooling and machining processes.
• Inspect finished components for dimensions, tolerances and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, modify, refurbish and maintain tube mill tooling, rolls and fixtures, and engineered components using CNC and conventional equipment.
• Work closely with engineering, maintenance and production teams.
