Job summary

Simpson Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Programmer for a Plymouth-based manufacturer. You will set up, program and operate CNC machines with Fanuc or Siemens controls to tight tolerances, reading engineering drawings and inspecting parts with precision tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC setting/operating with Fanuc or Siemens controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Capability to work to close tolerances.
• Willingness to participate in training on CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC machining centres or turning centres.
• Work with Fanuc or Siemens controls to meet tolerances.
• Inspect components with precision measuring equipment.
• Contribute to production of safety-critical parts.
• Collaborate with team to optimise processes.
• Pursue continuous learning including latest CNC technologies and CAM software.
