ASC Connections in Tamworth is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to design, set and operate CNC milling machines and produce high-quality components from engineering drawings.

The role requires editing and optimising programs, manufacturing one-off and small batch parts, and inspecting own work to ensure tight tolerances. You will collaborate with engineering and production to deliver projects on time and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings accurately.
• Experience working to fine tolerances in precision environments.
• Background in precision engineering or machine build environments.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Produce high-quality precision components from engineering drawings.
• Edit and optimise existing CNC programs.
• Manufacture both one-off and small batch components.
• Inspect your own work to ensure components meet tight tolerances.
