Job summary

Vivo Talent is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Gloucestershire to set, operate and program CNC turning and Mill-Turn machines. You will produce precision components to strict customer specifications and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on experience with FANUC or Mazatrol controls, live tooling and CAD/CAM knowledge (SolidWorks/ hyperMill) and a strong eye for quality control. This is a permanent day shift in a precision engineering environment.

Qualifications

Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification required.
Experience setting, operating and programming CNC turning and multi-axis machines.
Ability to read engineering drawings and work orders.
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with CMM inspection and traditional measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

Set, operate and program CNC Turning and Mill-Turn machines to engineering specs.
Manufacture high-quality components to tight tolerances.
Carry out in-process inspections and quality checks.
Maintain production and quality documentation accurately.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
