Job summary

ASC Connections Ltd in Solihull is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join a precision engineering manufacturer serving UK and international customers. You will program, set and operate HAAS VMC milling machines, modify existing programs and manufacture precision components from drawing data.

You will mentor apprentices, troubleshoot machining issues, contribute to continuous improvement and perform preventive maintenance, while collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC milling on HAAS controls.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Capable of editing and modifying G-code.
• Comfortable working to tight tolerances.
• Mentoring apprentices is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Modify existing CNC programs to improve efficiency.
• Support apprentices and share machining knowledge.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery.
