Job summary

Workforce Staffing Poole, Dorset, England is seeking skilled CNC Machinists and Programmers (Turner, Miller or Grinder) to join a precision engineering team. The role involves programming, setting and operating CNC machines for turning, milling or grinding on aluminium and steels, delivering tight tolerances in small-to-medium batches.

Applicants should have proven CNC experience with turning, milling or grinding and ideally familiarity with Mazak, Fanuc or Fusion 360, plus 4/5-axis capability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC turning, milling and/or grinding.
• Experience with Mazak, Fanuc or Fusion 360 is beneficial.
• 4/5-axis machining or precision grinding experience is advantageous.
• Ability to closely hold tolerances on aluminium and steels.
• Self-inspection and adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
• CNC turning, milling and/or cylindrical and surface grinding.
• Produce small-to-medium batch components to tight tolerances.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality standards through self-inspection.
