Job summary

CMD Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Operative / CNC Operator for a Bath-based precision engineering company. The role involves operating CNC machines and setting them up to manufacture precision components.

You'll read engineering drawings, use micrometers and verniers, work to tight tolerances, and perform in-process quality checks on a day-shift, Monday to Friday schedule. A permanent contract is offered with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining, machine operating or precision engineering.
• Experience reading engineering drawings is essential.
• Familiar with micrometers and verniers for precise measurement.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery to manufacture precision components.
• Set and adjust CNC machines where required.
• Read and work from engineering drawings.
• Use micrometers, verniers and other precision measuring equipment.
• Work to tight tolerances and quality standards.
