Job summary

RNJ FABRICATIONS LTD is seeking a CNC Milling & Turning Setter/Operator for a full-time, on-site role in Pidley. You will interpret drawings, select tooling, load and adjust programs, and perform first-off and in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.

You will monitor machine performance, maintain a safe workshop, and support colleagues while contributing to continuous improvement of machining processes.

Qualifications

• CNC programming for milling and turning; reading/modifying programs; understand G-code.
• Machining skills: setup, tooling, precision measurement, tight tolerances.
• Reading engineering drawings; use micrometers and vernier calipers; follow quality procedures.
• Commitment to health and safety in a workshop environment.
• Experience in CNC milling and turning is essential.
• Reliable, organized; capable of independent work and teamwork to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and select tooling.
• Load and adjust CNC programs for milling and turning.
• Perform first-off and in-process inspections; record offsets.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Report issues with equipment or materials; contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and help train less experienced team members.
