Job summary

Morgan Ryder is seeking a skilled CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join our Lymington operation. You will program, set up, and prove parts on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines, driving continuous improvement and best-practice manufacturing standards to deliver high-quality parts on time.

You will develop efficient production methods, support shop-floor operations, and ensure reliability and customer satisfaction through proactive problem solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience programming, setting, and operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis Mill/Turn machines.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to read customer drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide CNC programming from drawings and 3D models for machining.
• Set up and prove CNC programs on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines to production standard.
• Create manufacturing process plans, routings, and ERP data loads.
• Produce shop-floor docs: tooling lists, fixtures, gauges, and setup sheets.
• Review methods to identify improvements and implement best practices.
• Investigate production issues with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Shop-Floor teams to support manufacture.
• Train and mentor colleagues; maintain design records and BOMs.
