Job summary

Hales Group Ltd is currently seeking a Brazer in Diss, UK. You will prepare, assemble and braze components to engineering drawings and quality standards, maintaining safe practices and a Right First Time approach to minimise scrap.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30 and Friday 07:30–13:30, on a 39-hour week. The role offers a pension scheme and 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, with overtime paid when available.

Qualifications

• Experience in brazing, soldering or welding is essential.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• High attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform brazing operations in line with drawings and instructions.
• Prepare and assemble components prior to brazing.
• Inspect completed work and identify quality issues.
• Maintain Right First Time approach to minimise rework and scrap.
• Complete production records accurately and support quality improvement.
