Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an Assembly Operative to join the production team in Brough. You will assemble a range of products to quality standards and within set timescales, following SOPs and instructions.

Ideal candidates will have good English and maths, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided prior to starting duties.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and Maths, both written and verbal.
• Ability to follow written instructions and processes accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good hand dexterity and eye-to-hand coordination.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products to required quality standards using SOPs.
• Carry out in-process quality inspections.
• Bag and package products according to documentation.
• Read and understand drawings, manufacturing instructions, process documentation, and specifications.
• Operate relevant machinery, including semi-automated equipment.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Support the wider production team and perform other duties as reasonably requested.
