Job summary

All Square Recruitment LTD is partnering with a specialist manufacturing business in Marks Tey, Colchester, to recruit Production Operatives for their assembly team. This temp-to-perm position offers a clear 12-week pathway with sociable weekday hours and the potential to move permanent after the probation period.

The role involves assembling kits and components to strict specifications, handling small parts with care, and maintaining quality.

Qualifications

Previous production, manufacturing, or assembly experience is desirable.
Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts with care.
Strong attention to detail with focus on accuracy and quality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently.
Comfortable working as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

Assemble kits and components accurately per production specs and work instructions.
Assemble and prepare gaskets to a high standard of quality.
Carry out precise assembly tasks requiring dexterity.
Inspect completed assemblies for defects and ensure quality before dispatch.
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
Collaborate with the production team to maintain a smooth workflow.
Follow health and safety procedures and keep workspace clean and orderly.
