All Square Recruitment is partnering with a specialist manufacturer based in Marks Tey, Colchester, to recruit dedicated Production Operatives for their assembly team. This temp-to-perm role offers sociable weekday hours and a clear path to permanent employment after 12 weeks.

You will assemble kits and gasket components to precise standards, inspect quality, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly preferred.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts with care.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently.
• Comfortable working in a team or independently.
• Good communication and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assemble kits and components in line with production specifications and work instructions.
• Assemble and prepare gaskets to a consistently high standard of quality.
• Carry out fine, dexterous assembly tasks requiring precision and a steady hand.
• Inspect completed assemblies for defects, ensuring products meet quality standards before dispatch.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the wider production team to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and keep the area clean, safe and tidy.
