Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking skilled and meticulous light mechanical assemblers for a busy precision engineering company in the UK. Work involves finishing, light assembly and despatch, with duties from drawings and specifications in a clean modern workshop.

Roles are permanent with weekday hours 08:00-16:00, Mon-Fri, and paid premium rate overtime. You will maintain high quality through self-inspection, pack components to spec and support production teams, with on-the-job development and pride

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop or assembly line environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good timekeeping and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Finish/deburr components to a high standard
• Carry out light assembly of components and sub-assemblies
• Self-inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Clean components to customer specification
• Package components to customer specification, handling parts with utmost care
• Support production and engineering teams as required
• Manage your own workload and work area efficiently
