Job summary

DK Recruitment is seeking an Assembly Operator to perform dexterous assembly, testing and related tasks in designated cells. You will use precision measuring tools, verify dimensions and ensure products meet specifications with high attention to detail.

You will complete quality documentation, follow SOPs, and maintain equipment in safe, clean condition, reporting discrepancies to the Cell Leader as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience using measuring tools such as verniers, micrometres, gauges or similar precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and maintain high-quality standards.
• Experience completing quality records and production documentation accurately.
• Ability to follow written instructions, procedures and technical documentation.
• Confident in converting and working with different units of measurement.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and carry out tasks relating to dextrous assembly according to written instructions or instructions from the Assembly Production Coordinator.
• Use tools, machines, gauges and measuring instruments to ensure tasks conform to Company standards for production, QA, parts handling, safety and housekeeping.
• Use measuring equipment to verify component dimensions and ensure products meet specifications.
• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections and maintain high quality
• Complete required quality documentation accurately and maintain clear records.
• Follow written work instructions, SOPs and process documentation for consistent quality and compliance.
• Convert and interpret measurements accurately for assembly and inspection processes.
• Ensure equipment is safe, clean and maintained and report any discrepancies to the Cell Leader.
• Maintain accurate, legible production records using appropriate recording media supervised by the Cell Leader.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations in the work area.
• Communicate with the Assembly Production Coordinator on issues affecting cell efficiency.
• Carry out related duties as required by the Assembly Production Coordinator.
