Job summary

Thomas Sherriff & Co Ltd is seeking a Technology Solutions Specialist to support outlets and farms across our area. The role covers sales, installation, support, and training for John Deere, Solsteer and Kuhn Precision Technology solutions.

You will gain hands-on experience with telematics, automation and GPS guidance on agricultural machinery. Based in Jedburgh with travel across the Sherriff Group, we offer training via a dedicated learning path and manufacturer courses, plus a company vehicle

Qualifications

Hands-on sales and tech support experience in agriculture preferred.
Ability to understand customer operations and tailor solutions.
Comfort with presentations and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth by prospecting using CRM tools and understanding customer operations.
Install, setup and optimise technology products and services.
Learn to operate and demonstrate John Deere equipment and Precision Technology.
Assist customers and staff with Precision Technology troubleshooting on-farm and remotely.
Oversee Operations Center accounts and connected machine registration.
