Job summary

ROSE & YOUNG RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a 3-Axis CNC Programmer, Setter & Operator in Blaby, Leicestershire. The role offers a salary of £30,000–£40,000 with an annual bonus and shift allowance for late shifts. Hours alternate weekly, with daytime and late shifts described in the job posting.

You will program, set and operate CNC milling machinery to produce precision components to tight tolerances, inspect parts with CMM and ensure traceability and quality throughout the fabrication process.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machinery.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate 3-axis CNC milling machinery to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and process documentation accurately.
• Maintain micron-level tolerances and surface requirements.
• Set machines accurately and verify offsets and tooling prior to production.
• Produce first off components and perform in-process checks for conformity.
• Inspect finished components using CMM or precision measurement equipment.
• Follow SOPs and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Identify defects or non-conformances and report promptly.
