Job summary

Rose & Young Recruitment Ltd in Blaby, Leicestershire is seeking a 3-Axis CNC Programmer, Setter & Operator for the Fabrication Department. You will program, set and operate CNC milling machinery to mill, shape and bevel components to micron-level tolerances, ensuring the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.

This role involves interpreting engineering drawings, checking offsets and tooling, producing first-off parts, and using CMM and other inspection equipment to verify dimensions.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and process documentation.
• Experience using CMM inspection and achieving micron-level tolerances.
• Commitment to TPMs and maintaining equipment.
• Ability to maintain full product traceability.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate 3-axis CNC milling machinery to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and process documentation accurately.
• Work to micron-level dimensional tolerances and surface requirements.
• Inspect finished components using CMM and precision measurement equipment.
• Maintain full product traceability and follow SOPs.
