Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Stores Operative / Dispatch Operative in Wolverhampton. The full-time role offers an hourly rate of £13.50, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm. Duties include picking/packing, reading part numbers, selecting correct packaging and keeping stock orderly for dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing parts accurately for dispatch.
• Reading part numbers and product descriptions.
• Selecting correct packaging and right-size boxes.
• Ensuring items are packed securely to a high standard.
• Checking orders before dispatch.
• Loading and unloading wagons and vans.
• Organising and maintaining stock in stores.
• Using racking systems and keeping areas tidy and safe.
• Working as part of a team to complete orders on time.
• Maintaining presentation and labeling standards.
• Following procedures for handling, storage and dispatch.
