Laing O'Rourke invites ambitious graduates to join its Early Talent Graduate Development Programme. You will gain practical experience, pursue professional accreditation and build the skills to become future leaders in construction and engineering.

Based in the Explore Manufacturing Design Centre at the Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction, you will contribute to precast solutions, apply DfMA principles and collaborate across disciplines to deliver efficient, safer building methods

Formación

• Graduate membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), with support to work towards professional chartership.
• Desire to develop practical experience and obtain professional accreditation within the construction and engineering industry.

Responsabilidades

• Design and check structural solutions for precast products, considering manufacture, lifting and installation.
• Provide value-engineering input that balances safety, cost, buildability and sustainability.
• Support tender and pre-construction teams with structural engineering input.
• Explore innovative materials and design approaches to reduce carbon and waste.
• Work across disciplines to develop products that meet client needs while maximizing efficiency.
