Job summary

Carrington West in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pro-active Pre-Work Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of essential infrastructure works. You will coordinate pre-work activities, review job information, and manage permits and traffic management to keep projects on track.

You will schedule field teams, monitor progress, and ensure all data and documentation are maintained using Microsoft Office and planning tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways, utilities, street works, construction or maintenance planning.
• Understanding of network coordination and permits/traffic management processes.
• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and independent working skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan pre-work activities, ensuring jobs are prepared and progress according to deadlines and priorities.
• Review job information, identify missing details or potential issues, and escalate as needed.
• Manage permits, traffic management, street works noticing and network coordination requirements where applicable.
• Schedule field-based gangs and operatives while balancing priorities, SLAs and completion deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and planning systems.
